Activities and lesson plans have been developed as guides
to the possibilities for using the video tape Keeper of
the Gate in the classroom. No matter what is taught, the
teacher will be able to use something from The Life and
Works of Philip Simmons to present some concept which can
be related to some aspect of the subject being taught. Plans
include the following subjects: Art, Math, Language Arts
or Social Studies, American History, and Science.
The concept for the curriculums was designed by Owen Riley
Lee and the Philip Simmons Foundation, Inc.
